The ideas you have for your dreamcatchers are quite impressive. :) Beautiful work!
I think your dreamcatchers are stunning... I've never managed to figure out how to do the spider web type... I really like sifting dreams, blue moon, path to the heavens, and the world web one... and the balance one i really like too... :) thank you for sharing :)
Miigech, I may eventually post a tutorial. They're not all that hard to make, the hard part is to hide how you did it : P
I can try to explain it if you want?
I'd love to know how you did it... i love trying new things with my dreamcatchers... and my one friend would think a spider web one with one of my beaded spiders was AWESOME :D it'd be like the perfect gift for them!
Ok here goes...
Start the first time round as normal but the last halfknot should cover the first(just to make it look nicer in the end) now instead of making the halfknot on the next strand(the original one thats tied to the loop) make it around the point. To do this thread the sinew throgh the next hole than back through the first before passing it through the loop to form the halfknot (let me know if that was confusing). Pull on the sinew towards the centre of the hoop, this defines the spokes of the web, and pinch the knot so it doesn't slip while tyou tie the next.
You'll notice that the second time around pretty much exactly like the first so on the third time around use a needle or bent paperclip to seperate the two strands. Don't just thread it through with a needle as you may split your sinew and destroy the web. Also don't worry if it doesn't look very spaced at first aslong as you keep the tension tight it will quickly space itself out near the end.
I'm pretty sure thats all there is to it... good luck : ]
